Privacy Policy & Data Protection Notice

This notice explains how Kalash Energy ("we", "us"), a rooftop solar installation business based at 8 Sunaro ki Gali, Chandni Chowk, Bharava Kui, Ratlam, Madhya Pradesh 457001, India, collects and uses personal data through kalashenergy.com. It is provided as the notice required under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and applies to every form on this website.

We do not ask for, and you should not send us, any bank account, card, Aadhaar, PAN or other identity document details through this website.

2. Why we collect it (purpose)

To prepare and send you a solar quotation and system size estimate.
To call or message you back about your enquiry, site survey and installation.
To assist with your PM Surya Ghar subsidy application and net metering approval, if you ask us to.
To keep a record of our customers, quotations and installations for our own business records.
To understand which advertisement or website our enquiries come from, so we can decide where to advertise.

We use your data only for these purposes. We do not sell it.

3. Consent

We collect and process this data on the basis of the consent you give by ticking the consent box before submitting a form. Giving consent is voluntary, but without it we cannot prepare a quotation or call you back.

You can withdraw your consent at any time by calling or messaging us on +91 88899 52537 or emailing kalashratlam@gmail.com. After withdrawal we will stop contacting you and will delete your enquiry data, except where we are required by law to keep records (for example, tax records for a completed installation). Withdrawing consent does not affect anything done before the withdrawal.

4. Who your data is shared with

Google Firebase (Google LLC / Google India) — our website enquiries and customer records are stored on the Firebase Firestore database.
Government portals — if you ask us to handle your subsidy or net metering application, your details are submitted to the PM Surya Ghar national portal and to MPPKVVCL, the electricity distribution company, as required by those processes.
Advertising and analytics platforms — when you arrive from an advertisement, the platform (for example Meta or OpenAI advertising) is informed that an enquiry took place. Your name, phone number and bill details are not sent to them.
Our own staff, who need it to contact you and carry out the work.

We do not share your data with any other third party for their own marketing.

5. How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to an installation are kept for up to 3 years so we can follow up, and are then deleted. Records of completed installations are kept for as long as required for warranty, subsidy and tax purposes.

6. Your rights under the DPDP Act

To ask what personal data of yours we hold and how it is being used.
To have incorrect or incomplete data corrected or updated.
To have your data erased, and to withdraw your consent.
To nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf if you are unable to.
To raise a grievance with us, and to complain to the Data Protection Board of India if you are not satisfied with our response.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below. We will respond as soon as we reasonably can.

7. Children's data

Our services are meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect data of anyone under 18 years of age. If such data is submitted, please tell us and we will delete it.

8. Cookies and similar technology

This website stores small pieces of information in your browser to remember your quotation details and where you arrived from (for example, from a Google search or an advertisement). Advertising platforms whose ads brought you here may also set their own identifiers. You can clear these at any time from your browser settings. Blocking them does not stop you from using this website.

9. Security

Enquiry data is stored in a password-protected Firebase account which only our own staff can open. Access to our admin dashboard requires a login.
